Green innovation is taking centre stage at the Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair), as manufacturers accelerate their shift towards low-carbon, high-value production.

Held in Guangzhou, this year’s fair features a notably stronger presence of environmentally friendly products, from lithium-powered industrial vehicles to energy-efficient machinery. Many exhibitors are embracing advanced technologies such as AI and sustainable solutions, reflecting a broader transformation across China’s manufacturing sector.

Beyond the exhibition halls, the momentum is equally visible on factory floors. At facilities operated by SANY in Jiangsu, upgraded production lines are now turning out electric excavators, supported by dedicated research into battery performance under demanding conditions.

With suppliers and exporters adapting quickly to rising global demand, China’s green manufacturing push is not only reshaping industries at home but also strengthening its position in the evolving global supply chain.
