Hong Kong is gearing up for a magical winter as Merry Balloon Hong Kong makes its debut from 24 November to 4 January, bringing a vibrant mix of local and international characters to the city.
The highlight is the Merry Balloon Parade, the city’s first large-scale helium balloon procession, set for 28 December along the West Kowloon waterfront against the Victoria Harbour skyline. Beyond the parade, Merry-Go-Around Town invites families to explore a citywide augmented reality trail, snapping AR images of giant character balloons at key hotspots and collecting limited-edition badges.
At the heart of the festivities, Merry Balloon Park transforms the Great Lawn at West Kowloon’s Art Park into an inflatable wonderland from 6 December to 4 January. Featuring a Giant Bouncy Zone with a seven-metre slide and 40-metre bouncing track, plus a Snap & Play Zone with a colourful maze and a towering Christmas tree, the park promises endless photo and play opportunities.
Visitors will meet favourites from Peppa Pig, The Little Prince, SpongeBob, Garfield, M&M’s, PAW Patrol and more, including Ocean Park’s very own Panda Friends.
