Hong Kong’s first Five-Year Plan aims to strengthen its role as a global cultural bridge and Asia’s Events Capital, by expanding the West Kowloon Cultural District, hosting international events, and promoting Chinese heritage and pop culture. The city is also boosting its sports, tourism, and cruise industries. By 2030, this cultural ecosystem is projected to generate HK$170 billion and support 228,000 jobs, ultimately building lasting understanding between East and West.
