Hong Kong’s festive season is shining brighter as WinterFest’s Immersive Light Show officially lights up Central, turning the city’s skyline into a radiant Christmas spectacle. Each evening, eight landmark buildings around Statue Square Gardens come alive with coordinated 30-minute light sequences, while surrounding trees glow in soft, shifting colours that add warmth to the historic heart of the city.

After the show, visitors can wander through the Christmas Town at Statue Square, where a 12-chalet market offers seasonal treats and handcrafted gifts, before continuing along Chater Road’s Starlight Boulevard, now draped in elegant hanging lights that extend the festive stroll into the night.

Key buildings including the HSBC Main Building, Bank of China Tower, City Hall High Block and Prince’s Building form the backdrop to the displays, which run until early January, with extended hours on peak festive dates. With longer opening times and enhanced illuminations, WinterFest continues to bring a sense of wonder, calm and celebration to Central throughout the holidays.
