[HK Thrills] Hong Kong Expands High Speed Rail Links with Mainland
: :

Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Station has expanded its cross border high speed rail network with the launch of three new direct mainland routes, further strengthening connectivity with the Chinese mainland.

From Wednesday, passengers can travel directly from West Kowloon Station to Guangzhou North in Guangdong Province, Yiwu in Zhejiang Province and Fuqing West in Fujian Province, increasing the number of direct destinations served from 100 to 103.

The new timetable also adds Yiwu as a stop on the Hong Kong Shanghai high speed sleeper service, offering an overnight journey with evening departures and morning arrivals.

The new Guangzhou North route reduces travel time to just one hour and 17 minutes, providing a faster and more convenient connection for travellers heading to northern Guangzhou districts.

With the latest additions, Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Station now provides links to 113 stations across 19 mainland provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
