Chief Executive John Lee met residents at a district forum on Saturday to gather public views for Hong Kong's first Five-Year Plan and his 2026 Policy Address.

Around 130 participants from different backgrounds attended the two-hour forum at South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School. Discussions covered a wide range of issues, including the Northern Metropolis, economic development, innovation and technology, trade, regional co-operation, as well as housing, social development, and culture, sports and tourism.

The forum featured both open discussions and smaller group exchanges, allowing Lee and Principal Officials to engage directly with participants on boosting economic growth and improving people's livelihoods.

Lee said public feedback would help shape Hong Kong's long-term development blueprint, guide priorities for key policy initiatives, strengthen the economy and enhance people's quality of life.

Public consultations for both the Five-Year Plan and the 2026 Policy Address began in June and remain open, with residents able to submit suggestions through dedicated websites and email.
