Recently, Suzhou's renowned Tiger Hill Scenic Area introduced a remarkable new member to its team—'Xiao Hu’, an AI-powered robot guide. Standing 1.3 meters tall and weighing 35 kilograms, this ‘premium guide’ expertly shares the site’s 2,500 years of history, while assisting visitors with navigation, dining recommendations, and emergency support.
‘Xiao Hu’ wears a striking red and black traditional Chinese robe paired with a bamboo hat, its visible mechanical joints creating a fascinating blend of classic style and modern tech—a look that draws constant photo requests from curious visitors. Powered by an advanced AI model, it delivers precise, natural responses to a wide range of inquiries. Thanks to its 29 high-precision flexible joints, the robot performs intricate movements with ease, from dance routines to martial arts displays.
Visitors praised ‘Xiao Hu’ as both futuristic and functional, adding a fresh, interactive dimension to the touring experience.
