The 139th Canton Fair is in full swing in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, southern China, welcoming business visitors from across the globe. The district has hosted a special AI industry trade matchmaking event, connecting high-quality local AI products with international buyers and expanding their global reach.

Eight leading local AI terminal companies showcased smart robots, AI companion pets, smart office equipment, and intelligent suitcases. One AI companion pet drew particular attention from overseas visitors. Powered by the company’s proprietary AI model, it provides tailored companionship for both young and elderly users, helping to reduce loneliness. Each pet features a unique scent, body temperature, personality, and movement patterns, and its behavior evolves through interaction with its owner, earning positive feedback in global markets.

Twenty-three buyers from the US, Brazil, Spain, and other countries participated in the event. As a major AI cluster in Guangzhou, Haizhu has introduced supportive policies this year. It has established an AI terminal zone in partnership with leading e-commerce platforms, offering consumers 15% to 20% discount coupons on products. The district also provides subsidies for brands to launch flagship stores in Guangzhou, across South China, or nationwide, boosting corporate innovation and market expansion.
