Recently, a primary school in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province, held an innovative campus football event featuring AI-powered robots. The event aimed to spark rural students' interest in football by blending technology with sports through interactive activities involving both robots and students.

The robots immediately captured the children's attention. Highlights included a "human-versus-robot penalty challenge," in which students defended the goal against robot shooters, as well as mixed matches featuring robots and students playing on the same team. Participants said the robotic companions made training more enjoyable and helped improve their football skills.

Afterward, PhD students from leading universities delivered talks on robotics to the pupils. Teachers welcomed the initiative, viewing it as a valuable supplement to the limited educational resources available in township schools. They expressed hopes that more events of this kind would be held in the future to broaden students' horizons and help them stay informed about the latest technological developments.
