A range of futuristic sci-fi aerospace models from the Nantianmen defense system wowed the crowd at the Changchun Air Show in northeast China’s Jilin Province. We’re talking about next-gen, high-tech space fighters, tactical mechs, and even space factories!
This innovative aerospace-themed exhibition was part of the "Nantianmen Project," brought to life by Chinese aerospace companies. This project aimed to develop a state-of-the-art global defense system, featuring a massive airborne aircraft platform, an aerospace plane, and a tactical mechanized vehicle.
What’s also interesting was that the choice of names for the equipment were inspired by Chinese mythology, such as "Baidi" and "Xuannyu”. Additionally, visitors could get up close and personal with the concept models exhibited, dive into interactive science demos, and even try a hand at piloting these futuristic aerospace planes using high-fidelity simulators.
In other words, visitors got really lucky at the air show—they didn’t just get to step right into a sci-fi movie, but also got to blast into the future!
