The low-altitude economy is growing rapidly, creating strong demand for skilled professionals. Hangzhou Technician College’s UAV Application Technology program is closely aligned with industry needs. The first cohort of graduates secured employment before graduation, achieving a 100% employment rate.

The college’s drone training ground is located on the rooftop of a teaching building, with hands-on training serving as a core component of the program. The curriculum covers drone assembly and debugging, aerial photography, mapping, plant protection, inspection, and logistics. Students are required to independently complete end-to-end tasks such as drone delivery and automated inspections. They can also obtain multiple CAAC drone certifications during their studies.

The college has partnered with numerous drone companies in fields such as mapping, traffic inspection, and education. This year, every student in the first cohort secured a job offer before graduation, while all students in the second cohort have already obtained internships.
