To celebrate China's own Valentine's Day — the Qixi Festival, Zhuhai held a series of events, immersing both residents and tourists in an ambiance of love and charm.

The ‘Couples' Fun Run’ traced a picturesque route along Lover’s Road, connecting Instagram-worthy landmarks like the Love Post Office, Xianglu Bay Beach, and Yeli Island over 5.2 km of scenic coastline. With the starry sky above and the sea breeze beside them, couples soaked in the city’s dreamy atmosphere. Untimed and non-competitive, the run was designed as a symbolic journey—celebrating companionship and the shared path of life.

At another iconic landmark — the Sun Moon Shell Plaza, an evening music festival came alive under the night sky. The crowd was swept up in waves of energy, from innovative renditions of traditional instruments to the vibrant rhythms of electronic beats. A playful ‘Kiss Cam’ livestream flashed couples’ spontaneous kisses on the big screen, spreading warmth and laughter throughout the crowd. For many, sharing music and beauty with someone special, made it the perfect Valentine’s celebration.
