Guangzhou has launched a fully digital public service platform, Yue Trade Link, to simplify export procedures for small and micro businesses, marking a fresh step in the city’s push to modernise trade.

Activated on 1 April, the platform provides a one-stop online interface covering customs clearance, foreign exchange settlement, tax compliance and supply chain coordination. It is designed for cross-border e-commerce operators, small traders, factories and wholesale vendors, particularly those handling annual exports below US$150,000.

By enabling overseas buyers to source goods from accredited markets and consolidate shipments into a single customs declaration, Yue Trade Link reduces paperwork, costs and compliance risks. Users can also complete filings, bookkeeping and currency transactions through automated systems linked directly with banks.

Building on its role as a national pilot for market procurement trade since 2016, Guangzhou reported a 140 percent year-on-year rise in such exports in the first quarter of 2026, underscoring strong momentum in this segment.
