At Fushan Industrial Park in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China, a modern industrial base with a total investment of more than 2 billion yuan is taking shape rapidly. Focused on high-density interconnect boards for artificial intelligence and computing power, the project has now entered a key stage of main structure construction and is set to begin operations in the fourth quarter of this year.
The project covers a total floor area of 270,000 square metres. Plans call for one three-storey production plant and several supporting buildings.
Zhuhai is working to build a world-class, high-end printed circuit board cluster. The facility is targeting the core needs of computing power hardware and is introducing smart manufacturing throughout. Once it reaches full production, it is expected to produce about 370,000 square metres of ultra-high-end, high-density interconnect boards each year.
