The Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) is spotlighting Hong Kong’s creative talent at the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), which opened in Shenzhen on Thursday and runs through May 25.

This year’s Hong Kong Pavilion adopts the theme “Unbox Hong Kong”, drawing inspiration from the concept of blind boxes to present the city’s vibrant and diverse design culture. More than 100 exhibits from nine Hong Kong brands and creative organisations are on display, showcasing trends spanning art toys, design and traditional craftsmanship.

A newly introduced pop-up store at the Pavilion is also offering around 80 sets of curated cultural and creative products for visitors to purchase on site. Among the highlights are items from the “Hong Kong Cultural and Creative Mosaic” series, featuring themes linked to Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage and contemporary creativity.

The Pavilion will further host talks and workshops throughout the fair, giving visitors a closer look at Hong Kong designers’ creative processes and artistic inspirations.
