The 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition recently opened in Macau, marking the region's first time hosting a world-class philatelic event. The six-day exhibition features around 1,500 frames of competitive exhibits from more than 40 countries and regions, alongside over 40 booths hosted by postal administrations, stamp dealers, and printing companies from around the world.
Highlights include a Rare Stamp Pavilion and an exhibition of original Macau stamp archives, showcasing treasures from the China Postal Stamp Museum alongside original stamp designs and artwork. Daily themed events—including "Stamp Day," "Postcard Day," and "Art Day"—feature lectures, workshops, and interactive activities. Meanwhile, Macau's Postal and Telecommunications Bureau has also released several commemorative stamp issues during the exhibition.
Bringing together outstanding philatelic collections from around the world, the exhibition has attracted a large number of collectors and enthusiasts. The Bureau hopes the event will serve as a platform for connecting philatelists and promoting international exchange and cooperation in philatelic culture.
