The Hong Kong Cyclothon makes its exciting return on November 30, with thousands of riders set to hit the city’s streets for one of the year’s most anticipated sporting events. More than 6,000 cycling enthusiasts will join the classic 50km and 30km non-competitive rides, each offering a scenic journey across Hong Kong’s landmark bridges and tunnels.
Adding a fresh dimension this year is the launch of the World University Cup, which will bring student cyclists from Hong Kong, mainland China, and overseas together for a spirited international competition within the 30km ride. The City Cycling Challenge also gets a new look, trading its loop format in Tsim Sha Tsui for a thrilling 30km point-to-point course across the Greater Bay Area.
Festivities continue at the Cyclothon Carnival in the West Kowloon Cultural District, featuring live music, sports shows, art workshops, food stalls, gear markets, and family-friendly activities, ensuring a lively celebration for participants and spectators alike.
