The historic Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station is stepping into the spotlight with a new film-themed attraction. The “Yau Ma Tei Police Station: A Cinematic Journey” exhibition officially opened on January 1, and is now open to the public.

Located at 627 Canton Road, the Grade‑2 historic building brings Hong Kong’s crime film classics to life through meticulously recreated film sets, original memorabilia, and collectible items. Visitors can explore the city’s cinematic past while experiencing the creativity of local filmmakers.

To complement the exhibition and promote district tourism, the Yau Tsim Mong District Office has launched the Yau Ma Tei Dining and Shopping Festival, along with a weekend Mini Bazaar until March 1, offering cultural products, traditional snacks, and special discounts for exhibition visitors.

The exhibition is Hong Kong’s second film-themed attraction, following last year’s Kowloon Walled City showcase.
