The Hong Kong Art Toys Carnival opened on 20 February at the South Pavilion Plaza of Victoria Park in Causeway Bay, welcoming visitors into a vibrant celebration of local creativity. Running until 3 March, the free public event spotlights the city’s dynamic art toy scene and its growing cultural appeal.

A highlight of the carnival is the debut of seven new large-scale inflatable figures, each based on original intellectual properties created by Hong Kong art toy teams. Visitors can collect stamps from all seven designs to redeem a special set of themed postcards. On weekends, interactive game booths offer participants the chance to win limited-edition spring couplets inspired by the featured IPs.

The event also showcases 12 original figures from the earlier Hong Kong Art Toys Expo, along with the Hong Kong Art Toys Float first unveiled during the Chinese New Year Night Parade. Together, the displays celebrate Hong Kong’s design talent while blending art, imagination and tourism into a distinctive cultural experience.
