Families looking for a refreshing Easter escape can head to Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, where the “Family Forest Eggscape 2026” blends outdoor fun with hands-on learning. Running on 3, 5, 6 and 7 April, the programme invites children to step away from screens and explore nature through play.
Young participants become “Forest Detectives”, following a trail across the estate to collect eight nature stamps and restore a symbolic “Magic Egg”, earning a reward at the end. Along the way, families can enjoy guided animal encounters with pythons, raptors and native species, while learning about wildlife conservation from experienced keepers.
Visitors can also meet rescued macaques such as Leilani and Sofia, stroll through more than 50 scenic spots, and admire seasonal blooms including rare native orchids. The experience is rounded off with organic treats at the on-site café, offering a relaxed and meaningful Easter day out.
