Hong Kong Fashion Fest has brought together designers from Hong Kong and overseas through two flagship programmes unveiled this week, highlighting the city’s growing connections with international fashion markets and creative communities.

The 11th edition of CENTRESTAGE opened on September 2 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring more than 30 new looks by Hong Kong multidisciplinary designer and visual artist Kit Wan. His first solo show at the event, CENTRESTAGE ELITES, brought together fashion and visual art to reflect the city’s increasingly cross-disciplinary creative scene.

Meanwhile, “Future Threads: Menswear’s New Waves Between Italy and Hong Kong” will run from September 3 to 13 at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay. Organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre with Milan Fashion Week organiser Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the exhibition features work by 10 emerging menswear designers from Italy and Hong Kong.

Curated by Sara Sozzani Maino, it offers a preview of Spring/Summer 2027 collections while exploring how young designers from the two fashion hubs are approaching contemporary menswear.
