Hong Kong's skyline will come alive with color during the inaugural International Hot Air Balloon Festival (HABFest) from September 4-7 at Central Harbourfront. Organized by Grand Events Asia and sponsored by AIA, this spectacular event will showcase 16 vibrant hot air balloons from Germany, Japan and beyond, with some towering 10 meters high against Victoria Harbour's iconic backdrop.  

The festival promises magical moments from dawn to dusk, with morning flights (7-11:30am) and evening sessions (4-11:30pm) featuring a dazzling Night Glow Show where balloons pulse to music. Beyond the aerial displays, visitors can enjoy pedal boats, game booths, and tasty treats, while nightly concerts will feature top performers like Joey Yung, Leo Ku and LMF.  

This fusion of international balloon artistry and local entertainment aims to become Hong Kong's newest must-see annual event, offering unforgettable experiences for families and thrill-seekers alike against one of the world's most breathtaking urban panoramas.
