As robotics hardware continues to advance, robots are being deployed across an ever-expanding range of industrial and daily applications. Recently, a new robotic dog debuted at a construction site in Hangzhou, offering a novel solution for precise construction progress tracking and safety oversight.

Designed for intelligent construction management, the robotic dog autonomously navigates sites while conducting inspections. Equipped with multimodal sensors and proprietary AI, it detects safety violations, monitors build quality, issues alerts, and delivers real-time reports. 

According to the developers, the robotic dog has completed over 500 hours of practical testing. After multiple iterations, it is now a mature product ready for real-world deployment. Moving forward, the team aims to deepen collaboration between the robotic dog and drones, integrate it with surveillance platforms, and establish a more comprehensive intelligent inspection ecosystem. This will enable full-cycle digital management of cost, schedule, and quality, and propel intelligent construction to a new level.
