The transformative reconstruction of Huanggang Port—a critical Shenzhen-Hong Kong crossing—is racing toward completion, with operations set to launch in 2026.  

A game-changer for cross-border travel, the port will replace the current "two places, two inspections" system with seamless "one place, two inspections." Passengers will board and disembark just once, slashing clearance time from 30 minutes to just 5—no more double checks!  

Though more compact, the new design unlocks prime land for a dynamic “collaborative innovation zone,” including an “international talent community” with 180,000 sqm of housing, healthcare, and education facilities.  

Plus, the revamped port will link to Hong Kong’s Northern Link spur and Shenzhen Metro Line 7, supercharging connectivity. Full operations kick off in 2026.
