Titled "Picasso: Like a Child," the Original Works & Immersive Light Art Exhibition has opened in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, southeast China. The exhibition features more than 40 original works by Picasso and nearly 100 reproductions, combining sculptures, ceramics, stage props, interactive installations, and immersive digital light technology to showcase the 20th-century master's decades of artistic exploration.

The exhibition's theme is inspired by one of Picasso's most famous quotes: "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to learn to paint like a child." Through original works and interactive experiences, visitors can gain a close appreciation of the master's distinctive brushwork, use of color, and creative vision.

Original Picasso works rarely travel outside permanent collections, giving local audiences a rare opportunity to experience world-class art firsthand. Lin Li, head of the Oil Painting Department at the College of Fine Art, Fujian Normal University, said such exhibitions help audiences appreciate the freedom and limitless possibilities of artistic creation.

The exhibition also serves as a platform for China-Europe cultural exchange, promoting mutual understanding and dialogue between different cultures through art.
