Hong Kong track cycling sensation Ceci Lee Sze-wing delivered another show-stopping performance on Monday night, powering to victory in the women’s omnium and securing her third gold medal at China’s 15th National Games. The 24-year-old edged out her closest rival by just a single point after four intense disciplines, finishing on 124 points to claim the title in thrilling fashion.

Lee’s latest triumph marks her second individual gold of the Games and further cements her status as one of Hong Kong’s standout athletes of the competition. Lee said she hadn’t expected such a large crowd to pack the Hong Kong Velodrome on a Monday night, noting that the strong support “helped me a lot”. 

With three gold medals now to her name, Lee continues to shine on the national stage, inspiring pride and momentum for the Hong Kong delegation.
