The Hong Kong Space Museum is inviting audiences on an inspiring cinematic journey with its new dome show, Desert Elephants: The Adventures of Little Foot, now screening at the Space Theatre from December 15 until September 14, 2026.

Set against the vast Namib Desert, the world’s oldest desert, the immersive 40-minute experience follows “Little Foot”, a one-month-old desert elephant learning to survive in one of Earth’s harshest environments. Guided by her mother and the herd’s wise matriarch, Little Foot begins to master her remarkable trunk and age-old survival skills, from sand bathing for sun protection to sensing distant sandstorms and locating hidden water beneath the desert floor.

The film celebrates the strength of family bonds and the resilience of wildlife, as Little Foot navigates predators, sandstorms and the challenges of growing up in the wild.
