The inaugural Hong Kong Comic Con (HKCC) concluded successfully after a vibrant three-day run at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, drawing fans from across the city and beyond to celebrate the worlds of comics, animation, film, gaming and collectibles.

One of the event’s biggest attractions was its impressive line-up of international stars, with fan-favourite actors including Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus, Jamie Campbell Bower, Christopher Lloyd, Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Leung and Daniel Logan taking part in special meet-and-greet sessions.

Visitors also flocked to the first public exhibition of actor Louis Koo’s private collection of life-size collectible figures, featuring iconic characters from Batman, Superman, Star Wars and Spider-Man. The event also marked the debut of “Zhan Mojun Zhong Kui”, a new comic project produced by Koo in collaboration with leading local creative talents.

Alongside global franchises, HKCC spotlighted homegrown creativity, showcasing acclaimed animated feature “Another World” and original Hong Kong IPs, highlighting the strength and diversity of the city’s comic and animation scene.
