Artificial intelligence is capturing the spotlight at the ongoing China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), where a surge of smart products is reshaping the consumer electronics landscape. During the recently concluded electronics phase of the fair, cutting-edge innovations – from stylish AI glasses to intelligent home appliances – demonstrated how technology is weaving seamlessly into daily life.

Among the more than 350,000 smart products that were on display, AI wearables and home devices drew particular attention. One standout was a pair of AI glasses that overlaid navigation directions directly onto the wearer’s view, with audio prompts for easy, hands-free travel. The glasses also support real-time translation and photo or video capture. “AI glasses have seen exponential growth both domestically and internationally. Through ongoing technological updates and innovation, we keep adding new functions,” said Wang Xiangxin, an exhibitor to a Chinese news outlet.

Other highlights included an AI health-monitoring ring and intelligent appliances that could recognise fabrics or even understand local dialects, showcasing how smart technology is enhancing both comfort and convenience.
