[Inno & Tech] Advanced Robotic Core and Industrial Software Breakthroughs in the Greater Bay Area
: :

Industrial software is a core pillar of the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. In recent years, the Greater Bay Area National Center of Technology Innovation has accelerated research and development of foundational generic technologies for industrial software and embedded systems, achieving key breakthroughs in domestically developed industrial software.

Robotic agility relies heavily on powerful intelligent core systems. Researchers at the center are developing more advanced homegrown robotic “brains,” consisting of new domestic embedded databases and operating systems. This self-developed system enhances robotic processing power to handle complex tasks. It also adapts to industrial equipment, power systems, rail transit, and medical devices. Key indicators show millisecond-level data processing latency and data compression efficiency improved by 30 to 50 times.

Fully supported by Guangzhou in southern China, the center leads breakthrough research in intelligent robotics, industrial software, and particle technology. Its industrial software division focuses on foundational generic technology research and industrial applications. Housing the country’s largest industrial basic resource library, the institution has improved research and development efficiency by 35% in the home appliance and electronics sectors.
