Chinese robot manufacturers are expanding their presence in overseas markets, driven by rising global demand for flexible automation and the strength of China’s integrated industrial supply chain.

Rather than focusing solely on equipment sales, many companies are shifting towards providing customised automation solutions, integrated systems and long-term service support. Years of technological advancement and extensive deployment across more than 70 major industries have enabled Chinese firms to build strong expertise in both robotics technology and industrial applications.

At production facilities in Guangdong, manufacturers report a sharp increase in orders from Europe and the United States, particularly for welding, logistics and palletising robots. Demand for high-payload collaborative robots has been especially strong, supported by competitive pricing and reliable performance.

Industry players also report growing export orders and are strengthening overseas support networks, particularly in Southeast Asia, to respond more quickly to customer needs. As global manufacturers accelerate intelligent upgrades, Chinese robotics companies are also exploring wider applications for AI and embodied intelligence technologies, further expanding opportunities in international markets.
