The Hong Kong Heritage Museum has opened an exhibition celebrating the enduring legacy of legendary Hong Kong star Leslie Cheung on the 70th anniversary of his birth. Running from September 9 to May 10 next year, "Miss You Much · Leslie 70th Birthday · Exhibition" brings together more than 300 exhibits spanning Cheung’s celebrated music and film career. Highlights include 11 iconic stage costumes, personal furniture from Cheung’s former home and outfits worn during his "Live in Concert 97". A portrait by local artist Yuen Tai-yung is also being shown publicly for the first time, while parts of Cheung’s former residence have been recreated to offer a glimpse into his private world. The museum will also host free screenings of six of his classic films, alongside a special retrospective screening of "Live in Concert 97" later this year.
