A dazzling light show is transforming the dome façade of Hong Kong’s Space Museum into a celebration of horses, astronomy and intangible cultural heritage (ICH) as part of Hong Kong ICH Month 2026.   Running nightly from June 11 to 24, the three-minute projection blends museum collections, cultural traditions and celestial imagery in an immersive visual experience. Timed to coincide with the Year of the Horse, the show traces the enduring influence of horses in art, history and daily life.   Audiences are taken on a journey from Hong Kong’s racing culture to ancient calligraphy, paintings and artefacts, before encountering traditional ICH elements such as Cantonese opera and blown sugar craftsmanship. The narrative then shifts skyward, where a winged horse races through the stars, revealing Chinese asterisms linked to horses.   Looping throughout the evening, the projection concludes with the glittering skyline of Victoria Harbour, bringing together culture, creativity and the city’s iconic waterfront in a striking display.
