The 17th Wuxi International New Energy Exhibition recently concluded, featuring 119 enterprises that showcased cutting-edge technologies and applications across energy equipment, energy infrastructure, and green energy solutions, offering attendees a premier platform to experience the latest advancements.
A major highlight was the exhibition's pioneering balcony photovoltaic zone, where ultra-large single-junction perovskite modules drew significant attention from industry professionals. According to the manufacturer, these modules represent a global breakthrough—the first gigawatt-scale production line capable of mass-producing large-format perovskite components. They also lead the industry in energy conversion efficiency, low-light performance, and temperature coefficient.
Another standout was the eVTOL powered entirely by renewable energy. Equipped with sophisticated navigation and flight control systems, these vehicles have demonstrated remarkable reliability in critical applications such as emergency rescue operations and maintaining power and water infrastructure in remote areas.
With over two decades of experience in the new energy industry, Wuxi has built a comprehensive ecosystem for energy equipment development. Moving forward, the city will continue allocating additional resources to accelerate the growth of the new energy sector.
