[HK Thrills] World Grand Prix Snooker Returns to Hong Kong in 2026
: :

The World Grand Prix will return to Hong Kong in 2026, bringing the world’s elite snooker players back to the city for a six-day showcase at the Kai Tak Arena in Kai Tak Sports Park from February 3 to 8. The prestigious ranking event will feature the season’s top 32 players competing for world ranking points and a total prize pool of £700,000, with £180,000 awarded to the champion.

A flagship event on the World Snooker Tour calendar, the World Grand Prix was staged in the United Kingdom for a decade before making its Hong Kong debut earlier this year. Many of the sport’s biggest names are expected to be in contention, including Neil Robertson, Judd Trump, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Ding Junhui, Mark Selby, John Higgins and Mark Williams.

Beyond the main tournament, exhibition matches will take place on February 7 and 8, including a new team format pairing top professionals with emerging local talents. A fan interaction zone and sports carnival will also run alongside the event, offering ticket holders free access to interactive experiences, autograph sessions and official merchandise.
