The 7th China-Africa Media Cooperation Forum took place in Beijing recently. 28 executives and key staff from 11 media organizations across Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Comoros, Gabon and Morocco—visited the Tongzhou District Converged Media Center in Beijing. They toured the control room, studio, broadcasting room, and editing areas, gaining firsthand insight into the hardware, content production, and integrated edit-broadcast workflow.   Afterward, the delegation visited the Beijing Performing Arts Centre. In the Centre's panoramic sound space, they immersed themselves in how 8K, 5G, AR and VR break the boundaries of the traditional stage and blend deeply with art. At the Beijing Grand Canal Museum, synchronized three-fold screen projection and large-scale 3D diffraction placed them seemingly within the canal itself, letting them feel the cultural depth and historical pulse of a millennium of grain transport amid interwoven virtual and real scenes—and experience how new audiovisual technologies turn history into a cultural landscape that can be seen, felt and interacted with.   The delegation remarked that new technology has elevated artistic expression to a new level, and that peer exchanges between the two countries help broaden horizons, bring Chinese and African civilizations and peoples closer together.
