Hong Kong’s contemporary art scene took centre stage at the KunstRAI Art Fair 2026 in Amsterdam, where a dedicated pavilion brought together a selection of leading galleries from the city. Presenting a mix of contemporary works and fresh perspectives from emerging artists, the showcase highlighted Hong Kong’s creative depth and its strong international outlook. Visitors were able to engage directly with artists and explore a diverse range of styles, reflecting the city’s dynamic and evolving art landscape. A dedicated Hong Kong Art and Design space further expanded the presentation, emphasising collaboration across creative industries and offering a broader view of the city’s design and cultural strengths. Beyond the exhibitions, live performances by young musicians added another dimension to the showcase, blending genres such as jazz and classical opera. An accompanying talk also explored Hong Kong’s growing role as a bridge between European and Asian art markets, reinforcing its position as a vibrant hub for cultural exchange.
